The Center has two modes for industrial outreach: an industrial sponsors program and an industrial affiliates program.

Industrial Sponsors Program:

The industrial sponsors program enables industries to participate in Center activities by funding research on specific topics of interest. Funding can occur in two forms: contracts and unrestricted grants.  Industrial sponsors get the benefit of working with Center faculty, and Center graduate students who will execute the project using  Center facilities. Please contact any of the Center faculty in order to initiate a project.

Our current industrial sponsors:

    Analog Devices.

    Conexant Systems.

    Intel.

    Motorola.

    Samsung.

    Texas Instruments.

Industrial Affiliates Program:

The industrial affiliates program offers closer interaction with Center members through long-term visits (suggested duration 6 months) by personnel from industry as Center Affiliates. Center Affiliates will be provided with an office in close proximity to faculty and graduate students in the Center, access to Center facilities in order to conduct a project in collaboration with a Center faculty, access to all seminars in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Coordinated Science Laboratory, and the Beckman Institute. The suggested fees for participation in the Affiliates program is $50k/visitor/year.  Interested individuals can contact any of the Center faculty to discuss potential projects and visit durations.

Our current industrial affiliates:

    Samsung.
